Merriam Woods is a village in Taney County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,142 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Branson, Missouri Micropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.7 km²), all of it land.
As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 1,142 people, 468 households, and 326 families residing in the village. The population density was 809.0 people per square mile (312.7/km²). There were 586 housing units at an average density of 415.1 per square mile (160.5/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.34% White, 0.44% Native American, 0.18% from other races, and 1.05% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.88% of the population.
There were 468 households out of which 28.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.7% were married couples living together, 9.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.3% were non-families. 23.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.44 and the average family size was 2.85.
In the village the population was spread out with 26.0% under the age of 18, 6.0% from 18 to 24, 25.6% from 25 to 44, 23.4% from 45 to 64, and 19.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 94.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.6 males.
